Margaret Eugenia Burleson, 96 of Waco, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. Graveside Services will be on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Waco Memorial under the direction of Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Margaret was born on July 31, 1915 to Melvin and Annie Beasley in Barberville, FL. Marge was predeceased by her husband, Ernest L. Burleson; and sisters, Violet Roberts, Doris Tatum and Mary Donaldson. She leaves behind nieces, Colleen DeVries of San Antonio, Bettye Scott of Ocala, FL, and Nena Wallace of Waco; nephews, Bill Roberts of Tallahassee, FL and Richard Donaldson of Texas; and numerous great nieces and nephews. Marge was blessed with many friends during her life because of her sunny nature and in her last years spent at St. Catherine's, she was cared for very graciously and gently by Pam, Christie, Lee Ann, Annie and all the other wonderful caregivers on the third floor.
