Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 28, 2010 at Sacred Heart Church, Father Lawrence Soler, Celebrant. Committal services will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Marcelino was born January 5, 1934 to Guadalupe and Maria Rita (Sandoval) Ramirez in Port Lavaca, Texas. Marcelino was preceded in death by his wife, Janie T. Ramirez. Those left behind to cherish his memories are his daughter, Eva A. Chavez; sons, Marcelino Ramirez Jr., Adam Ramirez and wife, Mary; sister, Mary; brothers, Joe Ramirez and wife, Lucy, Johnny Ramirez and wife, Gloria; grandchildren, Mathew J. Chavez II, A.J.
