Lyndia Renee "Mamacita" Stanfer, 28, went home to be with her heavenly father August 17, 2017. A celebration of a loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend will be held at 2:00p.m., Saturday, August 26, at the Living Word Church of God and Christ with Dr. Gilbert Gillam, officiating. The repast will be held at 514 Rusk St. Waco, Texas.Mamacita was born February 21, 1989 to Russell Talton and LaSonja Edwards in Waco, Texas. She had a nursing certificate but with her disability she wasn't able to pursue a career in nursing. She was a gorgeous young lady who had a beautiful singing voice and heart of gold. Anytime you needed her she was always there. Mamacita was preceded in death by her father, Russell Talton; maternal grandmother, Minister Lyndia Horn and her maternal grandfather, David Edwards. She is also preceded in death by her nephews, Kamari Edwards and Liam Edwards; maternal great-grandmother, Rebecca Davis and paternal great-grandmother, Elnora Calhon.Survivors include her mother, LaSonja Edwards McConnell; Step-dad/father, David McConnell; siblings, David Edwards and Niesha, Jody Edwards and Kita, Cashay Edwards, Marcus Edwards and Dorothy, Corinthian McConnell, David M. McConnell and Nini, Ashley Muzon and Rebecca McConnell; cousin, Dontavius Davis; nieces and nephews, Journey Edwards, Ja' Vonte Ross, Aryah Edwards, Daviyar Edwards, and Sariya McConnell and several aunts, uncles and other relatives.
