Louise PackMay 5, 1917 ~ April 15, 2008 Louise Pack, 90, of Waco, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2008 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Wesley Perry and Rev. Roger McClary officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 17 at the funeral home. Willie Louise Scott was born on May 5, 1917 in Speegleville to Martha Jane Baker Scott and Charles Ambus Scott. She graduated from Waco High School in 1936. She married Olton Alva "Boots" Pack on Jan. 2, 1939 and they farmed in the Ocee Community all their lives. She was a member of Speegleville United Methodist Church for 90 years where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Board of Directors. Louise worked 40 years for Library Binding Company and enjoyed sewing, cooking, and gardening in her spare time. She also enjoyed quilting with the ladies at the church. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Boots Pack; and brothers, James "Little Jim" and Kelly Scott. Those left behind to cherish her memory are daughter, Carol Sue Bowdoin and husband, Frank of Crawford; son, James Ray "Jim" Pack and wife, Jan of Dublin; grandchildren, Steve Bowdoin of Las Vegas, NV. Gary Bowdoin and wife, Teresa of Crawford, Cynthia McClary and husband, Roger of Eddy, Julie Pack of College Station and Justin Pack of Dublin; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and sisters, Polly Neal of San Diego, CA and Emma Kettering of El Campo, CA. Pallbearers will be Danny Compton, Billy Pat Nelson, Keith Nelson, Charlie Horace Pack, Larry Plemons and Mike Plemons.
