Louise Galindo, 85, of Waco, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2007 in McGregor. Mass of Christian Burial was 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 30th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Lawrence Solar as celebrant. Interment followed at Waco Memorial Park. The Rosary was recited Thursday, November 29th at 7:00 p.m. at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.Mrs. Galindo was born August 19, 1922 near McGregor to parents, Jose and Eulogia Mendoza Lopez. A lifetime area resident, she was known for her excellent skills as a seamstress for many family weddings and other events. She was also babysitter to many children over the years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and The Apostalado. Her husband of 38 years, John Galindo, preceded her in death in 1984. Five brothers and one sister also preceded her in death. Pallbearers were Daniel Allen Galindo, Michael Anthony Galindo, Julian Ramon Galindo, Eric Paul Saucedo, Juan Andres Chavez and Jerry Orlando Rivas. Honorary bearers were Joshua Steven Sanchez, Daniel Lee Saucedo, John Joseph Galindo, Isaac Elias Galindo and Apolinar (Paul) Galindo.Survivors include seven children, Mary Lou Saucedo and husband Jesse of Kempner; Tony Galindo and wife Cookie of Speegleville; John Galindo and wife Mary Ann of Dallas; Carl Galindo of Waco; Dolores Rivas and husband Jerry of Buffalo, NY; Frank Galindo and wife Gloria of Waco; Julia Sanchez and husband Porfirio of Robinson; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
