Louis Lee Sweetman, 48, passed away March 20, 2016.Graveside memorial will be held 2p.m., Thursday March 24, 2016 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 12:30p.m. to 1:30p.m., at the funeral home.Louis was born October 23, 1967 in Norwalk, California to Louis and Helen Sweetman. One of his proudest accomplishments outside of his son, was attending McLennan Community College and obtaining his associates degree in nursing. Louis will be remembered by his long talks with his family and friends. He was a very smart person and loved to tinker in mechanical things. He had a love for cars including Mercedes and Corvettes. Louis will be missed by all who knew and loved him.He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one nephew.Survivors include his son, Louis Sweetman II and wife Heather; daughters, Ashley Slowik and husband Chris, Brandy Jones and husband Cody; his partner, Michael Thompson; sister, Vickie Tacker and husband Dwaine; and Louis' mother, Pam Sweetman.Arrangements under the direction of Connally-Compton Funeral Directors, Waco, TX.
