Lorene Temple, 90, of Waco, died on Thursday, March 10, 2005. Services are 10 am, Monday, March 14, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Mike Patterson officiating, and burial to follow in Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will be from 2 to 4 pm Sunday at the funeral home.Lorene was born to Dallas Francis and Mary Woodall Moran on June 29, 1914 in Dawson. She married William Boone "Dub" Temple in Houston on June 25, 1945. Lorene was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She enjoyed sewing and cooking, and especially loved her church, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Preceding her in death were her parents.Surviving Lorene are her husband, Dub Temple of Waco; daughter, Joann and husband Dale of Houston; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Danah Moran of Waco; and several nieces and nephews.
