Loreda Jean Beaty, 93, of Waco, passed away Monday. January 14, 2019 in Terrell, Texas. Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Waco Memorial Park in Waco. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2019 at the funeral home.

Loreda was born on June 29, 1925 to Johnnie and Ruby (Carlan) Holder in Kosse, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Waco. She was a longtime employee for Powers Embroidery in Waco. Loreda enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Jerry Brown; 1 grandchild and 2 great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Gaylon Brown and (Linda) of Lone Oak, Darrell Brown and (Joanna) of Quinlan; daughter, Judy Scott and (Johnny) of Mart; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Susan Brown of Euless.
