Linda Peterson, 66, passed away February 23, in Waco.Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., February 26, at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Clifton, Texas with Rev. Paul Krupicka officiating.Linda was born July 20, 1948 to Imadean Hall and H. Edward Peterson in Waco, Texas. She attended Waco Schools and graduated from Richfield High School in 1966. Linda received her RN degree from Scott & White School of Nursing and her BSN from Mary Harden Baylor in Belton. She worked for the VA Hospital in Temple for over 30 years in the Cardiology Department and retired in 2009. Linda was a lifelong Lutheran. Reading, Fishing and spending time with family and friends were some of Linda's favorite things to do.She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Richard Peterson.Survivors include her mother, two nephews and several cousins.The family would like to thank the staff of Quality Care of Waco for their loving care of Linda in her last days.Memorials may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church or Stillwell Memorial Residence.
