Mrs. LaVern Marshall Williams, 87, formally of Beverly Hills, TX passed away in Corsicana, TX March 15, 2014. Funeral Services will be 2pm, Monday, March 17, 2014 at Connally Compton Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.The family will receive visitors from 2pm to 4pm Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Connally Compton Funeral Directors.Mrs. Williams was born in Wellington, TX to Lewis M. and Willie O. (Webb) Marshall, on October 16, 1926. Mrs. Williams was the baby of nine children and the last surviving child. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Judson D. Williams; son, Billy Lon Culver and Son-in-law, Ronald Downing. She held the longest membership in Al-Anon in the state of Texas, holding a membership for over 50 years.Mrs. Williams is survived by daughters, Pamela Downing and Cecilia Loftis and her husband Jerry "Bo" and daughter-in-law, Shirley Culver and husband Steve Wesson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be Russell Culver, Casey Loftis, Caleb Loftis, David Burch, Ricky Allison, and Bo Loftis.Arrangements under the direction of Connally-Compton Funeral Directors, Waco, TX.
