Obituary

Larry Fadal (Lawrence Paul) was born at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco, Texas to Rosemary Abbott and Mitchell William Fadal, Sr. He graduated from Nitro High School in West Virginia in 1970, and served in the United States Army. Following in his father's footsteps he was an Insurance and Financial Services Representative for over 25 years. He retired in 1999. He was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and fish, ride horses, shoot pool and play cards.

Larry was a beloved brother, son, cousin, uncle and dear friend to all who were blessed to know him. He was well loved for his kind, generous and giving spirit. He was loving, tender, and trustworthy in spite of his his stubborn, tough and gruff persona. He had a heart the size of Texas.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and older brother Mitch, Jr. He is survived by older brother, John (wife Donna), younger sister, Susan (husband David), several nieces, nephews, cousins and his faithful chocolate lab, Maddie.

A Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 pm on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors with Chaplain Ed Smith officiating.
