Kyreta Kemp, 70, of Waco, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Beacon Hill Baptist Church with the Reverend Reggie Blake and Reverend Harley Gordon officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 12th at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.Mrs. Kemp was born on March 28, 1947 in Paducah, Texas to J. Dee and Estella Mars Green. She married James E. Kemp on September 22, 1967 in Brownfield, Texas and they celebrated over 49 wonderful years together. Mrs. Kemp loved her pets and children and collecting her treasures. She was a member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Kemp was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jack Green and a grandson, Ryan Moorefield.Survivors include her husband, James E. Kemp of Waco; son, James R. Kemp and his wife, Jennifer of Waco; daughter, Danyelle Pettorini and her husband, Ty of Waco, grandchildren, Kelly Richey, Jarrod Moorefield, Matthew Pettorini and Sadie Pettorini; great grandson, Landon Moorefield; great granddaughter, Lynzee Richey; sister, Pat Lucas and her husband, Duane; brother, Bob Green and his wife, Carol and sisters-in-law, Barbara Campbell and Mary Ann Stillwell and her husband, Tiffin.
