Kyle SilvasMarch 10, 1982 ~ July 23, 2007 Kyle Silvas, 25, of China Spring died on Monday, July 23, 2007. Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2007 at Central Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Trish Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, July 26, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Kyle Andrew was born the son of Arturo Anastacio and Martha Lee Anderson Silvas on March 10, 1982 in Victoria, Texas. He attended China Spring ISD through the 8th grade then transferred to Reicher Catholic High School his freshman year due to their soccer program. In addition to soccer, Kyle participated in varsity football, baseball and track. He graduated from RCHS in May, 2000. Kyle attended McLennan Community College and was currently a junior at Texas State University in San Marcus majoring in marketing. He worked at La Fiesta in Waco, Macaroni Grill in Austin, and was currently employed at On the Border in Waco. Words can't begin to describe how missed Kyle will be by his loving family and caring friends. Preceding Kyle in death were his father, Arturo Silvas in November 2002; and grandparents, Arturo and Santos Coronado Silvas. Those left behind to mourn his loss are mother, Martha Glass and husband, Dan of Waco; brother, Jason Silvas of China Spring; half-brother, Sean Silvas of Point Comfort; half-sister, Rachel Marin of Edna; step-brothers, Shawn Glass of Norristown, PA, Justin Glass of Lorena, Jordan Glass of Summerville, and Jack Glass of Waco; step-sisters, Autumn Glass and Kensey Glass of Waco; and grandparents, John and Margaret Anderson of Houston. Pallbearers will be Jack Glass, Jordan Glass, Justin Glass, Eric Llanes, Adrian Sanchez, and Roland Silvas. Honorary pallbearers are Jason and Sean Silvas.
