Kay Dulock BivonaMay 19, 1937 ~ January 19, 2008 Kay Dulock Bivona, 70, of Waco passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at a local hospital, surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of her life will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at Central United Methodist Church with Rev. Ben Disney officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Tues., Jan. 22, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Kay was born May 19, 1937 in Tours, Texas to John and Christine Dulock. She was married to John Bivona, the love of her life for 46 years. He preceded her in death on June 19, 2002. Kay was involved in her church, Meals on Wheels, and the Ladies Auxiliary at Providence. She worked at First National Bank and later owned her own business "Kay's Wigs" where she was able to reach out to help many cancer patients. At the time of her death she continued her involvement with property ownership. She loved to spend time with her daughter, family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, decorating her house, working in her yard and her Friday lunch date with the girls. Kay had the ability to meet the challenges of life or business. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Also preceding Kay in death were her parents; brothers, Wesley and Vernon Dulock; and sister, Georgia Woods. She is survived by her loving daughter, Cathy and her husband, Dan Smith; sisters, Bernice Kutscherousky and Jackie and husband, John Carroll; numerous family members and friends; and her two precious dogs that she loved dearly, Honey Bear and Babe.
