Kathryn L. Weempe, of Carrollton, TX, passed at the age of 91 on Sunday, August 9, 2015.Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 14, at Connally-Compton Funeral Directors Chapel, 4400 West Waco Dr. Burial will be at Billington Cemetery in Billington.The family will receive friends, Thursday, August 13, from 6-8:00p.m. at the funeral home.Kathryn was born March 11, 1924, in Elk, TX to Carrie Evelyn Martin and Cicero Andrew Graves. She graduated from Axtell High School. On October 7, 1944 she married the love of her life, Ray Weempe. She lived in Riesel andChina Spring, prior to moving to Carrollton in 1964. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and friend. Kathryn was a seamstress for forty plus years for many events.Survivors include children, George Weempe, of The Colony and daughter, Evelyn Daigneault, of Carrollton; grandchildren, Daniel Daigneault, of Louisville, KY, Carrie Burke, of Carrollton, Sun Ray Weempe, of Carrollton and William Weempe ,of The Colony; and ten great grandchildren.
