June Geraldine Smith was born Sept. 10, 1935, in China Spring, to Bessie Louise Stubblefield and Ira Bradford Smith. On Oct. 20, 1951 she married Vinson Earl Powers. June was kind, caring, and loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Earl "Sonny" Powers, son Vinson; daughter Lydia; 2 sisters Doris Hodges and Jeaneen Terrell 1 brother Roger Smith and grandchildren, Dennis and Chase Conway. Left behind to cherish her memory are sons, J.T. Powers of Moshiem, and Bruce Powers and wife Summer of Burleson, TX; daughters Alicia Norman and husband, Tommy of Kempner, TX, and Tara Conway of Lampasas, TX; siblings Aubrey Smith and Donnie Smith and 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
