JP Motley, Jr., age 91, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024 in Waco, Texas. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors with Reverend David Cozart officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
Mr. Motley was born on March 22, 1933 to James Pendleton and Idora (Bonner) Motley in Amity, Arkansas. He graduated from Hubbard High School in 1951. J P married the love of his life, Antoinette Turek on October 31, 1959. They celebrated over 64 wonderful years together. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years. He worked as an Instrument Technician and Boiler Operator with the United States Air Force and M & M Mars. J P enjoyed fixing things and spending time on his farm. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Theodore "T" Motley, sisters, Ida May Motley Hester, Geneva Gennette Motley Tharpe, Hazel Motley Tolleson; son-in-law, David Webb.
Survivors include his wife, Antoinette Motley of Waco, daughters, Barbara Webb of Crowley, Nicole Sage and husband, Justin of Waco, son, James P. Motley of Waco, grandchildren: Lauren Webb, Katherine Webb, Jadyn Haug, great-grandchildren: Gordon Sage, Lillian Sage, and Olivia Sage all of Waco; & numerous nieces and nephews.

Kevin Nors.
