Josephine Davila Garcia, 85, passed away surrounded by family November 17, 2013.Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 21, 2013 at St. Francis Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Connally Compton Funeral Directors Chapel. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.Josephine was born September 18, 1928 in Satin, Texas to Paul and Gertrude Davila. She married Pablo Garcia on February 16, 1951. She had a lovely sense of humor and was always telling jokesJosephine is preceded in death by her husband; two brothers; and five sisters.Survivors include her sons, Tomas Garcia and wife Virginia, David Garcia and wife Becky, Mike Garcia and wife Berta, and Paul Garcia, Jr.; daughters, Frances Chavez and husband Phillip and Eva Ramirez; brother, Domingo Davila; Sisters, Tilda Davila, Vickie Guardiola and husband Jerry and Pauline Rodriquez; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tomas Garcia, Jr., Carlos Cosme, Sr., Carlos Cosme, Jr., Jose Urieta, Edwin Johnson, and Paul Ramon Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers will be Phillip Chavez and Seferino Lopez.
