Johnnie C. Doty, 84, of Waco passed away at her residence on September 19, 2022. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, September 23, 2022 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in Crawford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 22nd at the funeral home.

Mrs. Doty was born on February 28, 1938 in Oglesby, Texas to Charles and Minnie (Hicks) Blansit. She married Clifford O. Doty on September 21, 1954 and they celebrated over 66 wonderful years together until his death on August 15, 2020. They loved fishing, camping, road trips and big family gatherings.

Mrs. Doty was a member of Kendrick Lane Baptist Church and was a big supporter of Saint Jude Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Clifford, Gary and Benny Doty and brothers, Buddy Wayne, Jim Bob and Billy Earl Blansit.

Survivors include her daughter; Brenda Coulson and husband, Clint, son; James (Luke) Doty, 9 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
