Mrs. Johnnie R. "Granny" Coffelt, age 84, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011 in Waco, Texas. Graveside service will be on Thursday, July 28, at 10 AM at Chapel Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Randy McFeely officiating. Services are under the direction of Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Mrs. Coffelt was born on July 12, 1927 to Douglas and Dora (Elmore) Majors in Blum, Texas. She was a resident of Fort Worth for 48 years prior to moving to Waco in 2005. Mrs. Coffelt at Quick-Way Stamping in Euless for 42 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Dora Majors; husband, William Clyde Coffelt. Survivors left to cherish her memories are sons, Reggie Coffelt of Dallas and Ricky Coffelt and wife, Samantha of Waco; grandsons, Billy Coffelt and wife, Cathy, of Fort Worth, Brian Coffelt of Houston and Jason Coffelt of Waco; granddaughter, Chelsea Coffelt of Fort Worth; great-grandsons, Justin Coffelt of Fort Worth, Tayton Coffelt of Houston and Nickolas Coffelt of Fort Worth; great-granddaughter, Kayden Coffelt of Houston; numerous nieces and nephews.
