"An American Hero", John Morris Green, 94, of Hewitt, Texas passed away at his residence on November 12, 2020. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Victorious Life Church with Pastor Lloyd Zeigler officiating. Interment will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 21, 2020 in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.

Mr. Green was born on June 23, 1926 in San Leandro, California to Oscar and Virginia (Moer) Green. He delivered telegrams for Western Union, he worked as a Metal Lather and he served his country in World War II in Germany and was a true Hero displayed to all through his kindness and love.

Mr. Green loved eating, crossword puzzles, cars, having fun, inventing, road trips, fellowship but his true love was his family; he was loved by his parents; Oscar and Virginia Green, siblings; Oscar, Pat and Latrice, children; John, Jack, Judson, Jennifer, Johnny, Teresa, Jerry, Kathy, Tami, Michelle, Rusty, Ryan, Randy, Risa and Rita, many grandchildren, great grands, great-great grands, numerous nieces, nephews and All who knew him.

Pallbearers will be: Jason, Aaron, Alberto, Chris, Andrew, Claude, Luke and Sam and honorary pallbearer: Austin.
