Joe C. SheltonApril 27, 1927 ~ March 18, 2010 Joe C. Shelton, 82, of Woodway, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010, in a Waco hospital. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Monday, March 22, 2010 at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Joe was born April 27, 1927 to Frances Eugene and Katherine Fitzhugh Shelton in Denton, TX. Joe was a Navy veteran of WWII. Joe met Joyce Richards on Friday, February 6, 1948 and they married on Wednesday, February 11, 1948. Joe is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Everett Shelton. Those left behind to cherish Joe's memory are his loving wife of 62 years, Joyce Richards Shelton; daughter, Terry S.
