Joe Clark Senior, 87, passed away August 2, at a local hospital.Graveside services will be held at 10:30a.m., Friday, Aug. 5, at Rosemound Cemetery with Johnny Stephens officiating. Viewing will be available from 12 to 8:00p.m., Thursday, Aug. 4, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors.Joe was born November 14, 1928 in Gratz, KY to J.D. and Dora (Wilson) Senior. His family moved to Waco when he was a young child. Joe attended Waco High School and upon graduation, he went to 4C Business School. He was in the United States Army for 4 years during the Korean War. Joe worked for 35 years at the Waco VA Hospital and then went to work for 10 years with Plantation Food. Joe was a hard-working man and was a faithful member of the Columbus Ave Church of Christ as long as his health permitted. He married Rubie Allen on Feb. 10, 1956 and was longtime resident of the City of Robinson.He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Rubie Senior; children, Kenneth Senior, Richard Senior both of Robinson and Charles Senior, of Thrall; grandsons, Wesley Senior, Tyler Senior, Zachary Senior, and Elijah Senior; granddaughters, Ashlie Cooke and husband Tony, and Stephanie Senior; and great-grandson, Anthony Allen Cooke.
