Joe Dale Bryan, age 84, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, in Houston, Texas from pancreatic cancer. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors in Waco, Texas. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas.

Joe was born on September 21, 1940, to Andrew Walton and Thelma Lee (Clements) Bryan in Waco, Texas. He was a Principal at Giddings State School from 1972-1975 and Clifton High School from 1975-1985. Joe enjoyed walking, reading, attending church, and most of all playing the piano at church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mickey Blue Bryan.

Survivors include his brothers, James Lee Bryan and wife, Joretta of Houston, TX,
Jerry Don Bryan of Mosheim, TX; nieces, Debbie Ginn and husband, Perry of Aledo, TX, Cathy Britton and husband, Craig of Houston, TX, Becky Levy and husband, Rusty of North Richland Hills, TX, and Cindy Constable and husband, Kevin of West, TX, nephew, Andrew Paul Bryan of Bedford, TX; and a host of great nieces, nephews and friends.
