Mr. Jimmy Parker Kizer, 76 of Waco, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Providence Hospital in Waco. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February, 16, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Richard Roland Officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Connally-Compton Funeral Directors in Waco, Texas. Jimmy was born January 6, 1937 in Waco, to Valerie and Lester Kizer. He was a graduate of Waco High School and Baylor University. He served as president of Kizer Claims Services until his retirement. He was a member of Central Christian Church, TIIAA, NIIAA, Hedonia; as well as a longtime member of Ridgewood Country Club.He is survived by his wife of 11 years Carol Kizer of Hewitt; son, Bob Kizer of Waco and his children, Kris and Kourtney Kizer; daughter, Kelly Ward and her husband Glen of Katy and their children, Faith and Walker Ward; daughter, Paige McKinney and her husband Seth of College Station and their children, Kate, Abigail and Hannah McKinney; step-son, Pat Moore and wife Bridgett of Hewitt; and step-son, Gerald Taylor and wife Stephanie and their children, Jacob, Grant and Cooper Taylor.He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, L.M.
