Jerry Hall February 13, 1951 ~ September 20, 2008 Jerry Hall, 57, of Lorena, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2008. Services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 23, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Jim Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Criswell Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, September 22, at the funeral home. Jerry Lynn was born to Geneva and James Hall on Feb. 13, 1951 in Groesbeck, Texas. Jerry was very patriotic and a happy person who loved life. How he enjoyed drinking his sodas, watching the Three Stooges, playing BINGO, fishing, basketball and bowling. He brought great joy to our lives these past 75 years, we will miss him. Preceding Jerry in death were his father, J.D. "Happy" Hall; and brother, Marvin Joe Hall. Left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Geneva Hall of Lorena; brother, Richard Hall and wife, Janie of Mart; sisters, Joan Batts and husband, Charles of Austin, Deborah King and husband, Samuel of Axtell and Charlotte Sisk and husband, Jim of Eddy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
