Jerald J. Rimlinger, 68, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at his residence. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, May 24th at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Mr. Carlton Munns officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 23rd from 5:00 -7:00 PM at the funeral home.Mr. Rimlinger was born June 12, 1935 in Barberton, Ohio to Leonard Jacob and Nonna Blaine Rimlinger. He married Myra Lou Bartram on June 21, 1958 in Barberton, Ohio and they celebrated 45 glorious years together. Mr. Rimlinger graduated from Ohio State University in 1958 and in 1959 they moved to Waco where he worked as a mechanical engineer for 36 years. Mr. Rimlinger worked for General Tire, KD Manufacturing and retired from Hercules in 1994. Mr. Rimlinger enjoyed his work but his true love and life work was raising his family. He was a volunteer with Big Brothers of Waco for several years and was a big brother to Terrence Moore. His parents preceded him in death.Survivors include his wife, Myra Rimlinger of Waco, sons, Robert Kevin Rimlinger and his wife, Lori of Longview, Scott Joseph Rimlinger and his wife, Kathy of Waco and Joel Jay Rimlinger and his wife, Fiel of Lake Charles, LA, daughters, Lori Marie and her husband, Gilberto Caceres of Waco and Lesley Jennice and her husband, Elias Vasquez of Huntsville, grandchildren, Kevin, Leah, Ryan, Adam, Zachary, Shelby, Emilie and Jacob Rimlinger and Elise and Micah Caceres, brother, Paul Rimlinger and his wife, Jeanine of Seattle, WA, sisters, Gloria Jones of Liberty, MO, and Linda Coolidge and her husband, Jack of San Mateo, CA, and numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be; Kevin Rimlinger, Adam Rimlinger, Zachary Rimlinger, Ryan Rimlinger, L.C. Nobles, George Norris, M.M.
