Janie Wells MarshallSeptember 25, 1917 – December 26, 2010 Janie Wells Marshall, 93, formerly of Waco, departed this life on Sunday, December 26, 2010 in Austin. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 3, 2011 at Waco Memorial Park. Janie was born September 25, 1917 in Mosheim, Texas to Guss W. and Nancy Jane (Holt) Wells. Around her neighborhood in Waco, she was known as "granny" to the children. Cookies and Kool-Aid often awaited their arrival. Her sweet nature and love was obvious. She had love for her god and his creations and was always willing to go the extra mile to help others less fortunate throughout her life. She was blessed to have many loving and caring relatives, in-laws and friends. She will be dearly missed. Janie was preceded in death by her parents; and loving husband of 51 years, Daniel Glenn Marshall. Janie leaves behind a son, Jerrell Marshall and wife, Barbara; grandchildren, Cassy Powell, Taye Marshall and wife, Dana, and Hannah Marshall; great grandchildren, Craig Alan, Christopher, and Caitlin Powell, and Reily and Torin Marshall.
