James "Jamie" Lowell Sullivan Sr.

James "Jamie" L. Sullivan, age 60, of Cross Plains, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on July 25, 2026.

Jamie was born in Waco, Texas, on December 2, 1965, to John Sullivan. He built a fulfilling life centered around his family, his passions, and his community. As a dedicated construction superintendent, Jamie truly loved his job and took great pride in his work.

Outside of his career, Jamie was a man of many talents and hobbies. He was an avid woodworker, motorcycle enthusiast, bowler, and guitar player. He also found peace working in his garden. one of his most precious hobbies that he shared with his wife was her love of horses. His greatest joy, however, came from spending time with his beloved family. Whether it was dancing with his wife, or playing baseball with his sons, his family was always his pride and joy.

Jamie is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Cheryl Ann Sullivan; Son, James Lowell Sullivan Jr. and his wife Emily; Son, Jonathan Lee Sullivan and his wife Sarah; Father, John L Sullivan; and grandson, James Lowell Sullivan III.

Preceded in death by his pop, Alphonse; daughter Rayne; and grandson, JJ.

A viewing will be held at 1:00 p.m. followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on August 6, 2026, at Waco Memorial Park in Waco, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made directly to his family to help cover expenses and honor his memory.
