Irma Deane Ash, 98, passed away August 15, 2016.Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:00p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors. Irma was known as Deane to mostly everyone. She was born Oct. 16, 1917 in Cherokee County, East, Texas to William and Lena Dew. Deane worked for Owens Illinois Glass Plant for 35 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and gardening. Irma loved her cats and dogs and caring for her home. She was a sweet and loving person who will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Ash and two brothers. Survivors include her son, Billy Wayne Ash and several nieces and nephews.Arrangements under the direction of Connally-Compton Funeral Directors, Waco, TX.
