Herminia Cluke, 98, of Waco Texas, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2019 surrounded by family. She lived a wonderfully blessed life. Mass of Christian burial will be held January 8th, 2019 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Waco, Texas. Service will begin at 10:00 am with Father Eduardo Jazo as Celebrant. Interment following in Oakwood Cemetery. There will be a visitation at Connally Compton Funeral Home 4400 W. Waco Drive January 7th from 6-8pm with a Rosary at 7pm.
Herminia was born to Bravlio and Herlinda Quinones in Downsville, Texas on February 28, 1920. Faith and family was everything to Herminia, and she was devoted to her, husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great - great grandchildren and even a great-great-great grandchild. She was a faithful member of St. Francis Catholic Church. Herminia loved to travel she has been to California, Germany, Washington DC and just 3 weeks ago was in Shreveport, Louisiana just to name a few of her adventures. She also loved to garden and be outside in her yard.
Mrs. Cluke was preceded in death by her parents, Bravlio and Herlinda Quinones, husband Frank Cluke, brother's Buddy Quinones and Pedro Quinones; sister's Lee Beltran and Nellie Mancillas.
She was survived by, sister Opal Gonzales and brother Adan Quinones, son Alan Cluke Sr. (Eloisa), daughter Cecilia Lopez; and granddaughters Diana Lomosad (Leland); Sheri Lopez; Suzanne Ritchie; Lenora Garcia (Mario), and grandson Alan Cluke Jr.(Renee), 10 great grandchildren Azriel Lomosad, Leandra Anderson, Miranda Garcia, Iliana Garcia, Frankie Cluke, Amelia Cluke, Sophie Cluke, David Ritchie, Michael Pickens and Mylee Pickens, 10 Great-great grandchildren Sabrina Lomosad, Allyssa McPhalen, Jason McPhalen, Halie McPhalen, Anthony Lomosad, Elijah Ayala, Yzabella White, Georgia Cluke, Hudson Cluke, Beckam Merkel-Ritchie and 1 great-great-great grandchild Nevaeh Jae Holman.
