Henry Bartoli, 89, of Waco and formerly of San Antonio, passed away Wednesday, June 06, 2012, at Sunset Home in Clifton. Funeral services will be 10:00AM Monday, June 11, 2012 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Pastor Herb Lammert, Chaplin with Hospice Sunset, officiating. Masonic Burial ceremony will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-4 PM, Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the funeral home.Henry was born on March 17, 1923 in Houston, Texas. He married the love of his life, Gean A. Bartoli, on August 28, 1943 in San Antonio. He served in World War II in the US Coast Guard. He worked at Kelly AFB in San Antonio for over 50 years. He began his years in Freemasonry at Davy Crockett Lodge in San Antonio, followed by M. Denton Stanford Lodge in Lorena, and was a charter member of Tranquility Lodge. He was awarded a Lifetime Certificate and 60 year certificate by the Grand Masonic Lodge of Texas. He was also a member of Alzafar Shrine Temple while living in San Antonio. He and Gean enjoyed ballroom and western dancing. After moving to Waco, they joined the dance clubs at the Sul Ross Senior Center.Henry is preceeded in death by his wife, Gean A. Bartoli; his parents, Enrico and Victoria Bartoli and his beloved stepmother, Louise Georianni; and by his sister, Alma Rubiola. Those left behind to cherish Henry's memory are son, Terry Bartoli and wife, Susan; daughter, Nancy Bratcher and husband, Tom; grandchildren, Rene'e Mitchell and husband, Joel, Pete Bartoli, Andrea Swanson, Tommy Swanson, Brande Bratcher, and Wen Bratcher; and 6 great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lutheran Sunset Ministries in Clifton, or the charity of your choice.
