Grachel Era Lebkowsky, 97, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 in Waco, Texas. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May. 10, at 10 a.m. at Connally/ Compton Funeral Directors with Mr. Ernie Christie officiating. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May. 9, at the funeral home. Mrs. Lebkowsky was born January 17, 1920 to Pink and Mary (Smith) Mullins in Haskell, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Waco and was a member of Lakeshore Church of Christ. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and cooking.Grachel married the love of her life, Max Lebkowsky on July 7, 1934 in Stanford, Texas and they celebrated over 78 wonderful years together. He preceded her in death in on May 9, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Maurice, 5 sisters and 8 brothers. Survivors include her daughters, Gloria Lankford and husband, Bill of Robinson, Carol Eddy and husband, Frank of Hewitt, Mary Beth Harris of Waco; son, Rick Lebkowsky and wife, Denise of McGregor; 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Lois McDonald of Eastland, brother, Holman Mullins of Alvarado; and numerous nieces and nephews.
