Mr. Gilbert Ramirez, 65 of Waco, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 surrounded by his family. There will be a rosary held on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.

Gilbert was born on July 2, 1954 to Domasio and Gabriella Ramirez in Waco, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Waco, Texas. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He married the love of his life, Debra Lyles on December 30, 1987 in Waco, Texas. Gilbert retired in 2016 as a Floor Technician. He enjoyed watching his western movies and spending time with his family. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Debra Ramirez, brothers, Tony, Manuel, John, Robert and Valentine.

Survivors include his daughters, Jacilyn Pecina and husband, Eric of Elm Mott, Melisa Weins and Kenneth of Waco; son, Edward Ramirez and wife, Victoria of Waco.
11 grandchildren, brother, Pedro Ramirez and wife, Martha of Waco, sisters, Cecilia Martinez of Waco, Martha Suarez of Waco, Susie Ramos of Waco, and Victoria Smith of West; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
