Geneva Elizabeth Hall, 86, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 18, 2012.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21, at 10 AM at First Baptist Church of Golinda with Rev. Morgan Woodard officiating and burial to follow in Criswell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Friday, Jan. 20, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Geneva was born on June 24, 1925 to Rev. William Oscar and Alice Johnson Easter in Mart, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Golinda and a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Golinda Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. William Oscar and Alice Priscilla Easter; Husband, James D. Hall; sons, Marvin Joe Hall, Jerry Lynn Hall; son-in-law, Samuel King. Geneva leaves behind to cherish her memories is her son, Richard Hall and wife, Janie of Mart; daughters, Joan Batts and husband, Charles of Austin, Deborah King of Axtell, Charlotte Sisk and husband, Jim of Eddy; Nine grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
