Gean BartoliOctober 3, 1924 – March 2, 2011 Gean Bartoli, 86, of Waco and formerly of San Antonio, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Sunset Home in Clifton. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 7, 2011 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Pastor Herb Lammert, Chaplain with Hospice Sunset, officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 6, 2011 at the funeral home. Gean was born October 3, 1924 in Malden, Missouri. She married the love of her life, Henry P. Bartoli, on August 28, 1943 in San Antonio. Gean was very devoted to caring for her family. One of her greatest passions was dancing. She cherished the special moments with her husband as he swept her across the dance floor. Gean was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Irene (Copeland) Ackelson. Those left behind to cherish Gean's memory are her loving husband of 67 years, Henry P. Bartoli; son, Terry Bartoli and wife, Susan; daughter, Nancy Bratcher and husband, Tom; grandchildren, Renee Mitchell and husband, Joel, Pete Bartoli, Andrea Swanson, Tommy Swanson, Brande Bratcher, and Wen Bratcher; and 6 great grandchildren.
