In Loving Memory of Garfield Simon Pace, Sr., 90, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021 in Waco, Texas.
Garfield was born in Cawood, KY, Harlan County on February 21, 1931, the only child of Thelma (Cookie) and Chester Pace. He is preceded in death by his parents, sons, Gary Allen, Arthur Dale Taylor, and grandson, Justin M. Sirmons.

Garfield was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and stationed at Connally Air Force Base, Waco, Texas. Even though he was not born a Texan- he got here as soon as he could. He worked as a federally licensed grain inspector so he was relocated to numerous locations throughout the county before coming back to Waco and working for TSTI.

He is survived by his wife, of 43 years, Juanita Fay Pace, 5 children, Garfield II, Stephen, Pam, Boyd, Richard, Janie, Johnny Ray Taylor, and Vernon Douglas Taylor, 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 9 great great-grandchildren.
