Franciso G. Aguilar, 71, of West, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors, with the Reverend Susan Finck officiating. Interment to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the funeral home.

Mr. Aguilar was born in Mexico on November 17, 1946 to Francisco and Virginia (Garcia) Aguilar. He worked for West Public Schools for 13 years. Francisco worked from sunup to sundown caring for the goats and chickens he called his babies and they adored him. He was a wonderful dad to his stepchildren, as well.

Survivors include his wife, Nina; stepson, Mike Torres; stepdaughters, Rosa Ashworth and husband, Ed, Yolanda Martinez; brother, Magdaleno Aguilar, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
