Flynn Faglie, 103, of Waco, passed away peacefully at Ridgecrest on February 9, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, February 20, 2017, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Mrs. Faglie was born on December 27, 1913 in Wallace, Texas to Jay H. and Julia Ann Solomon Horn. She married Milton Faglie on November 9, 1939 and they celebrated over 59 wonderful years together until his death on September 4, 1999. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Milton, infant son, mother and father, two brothers and a sister. She leaves behind daughters Patti Sullivan Wrench of Brownsville and Kay Holze and son-in-law Ronnie Holze of Waco, grandchildren Michael Sullivan and wife Lisa, Kathy Jo Sullivan and spouse Marci, Debbie Holze Hannas and husband Brian and Stephen Holze and wife Christy, nine great grandchildren and six nieces and nephews, who all loved her greatly. Flynn was a long time member of Central Christian Church. The family wants to acknowledge their faithful attention to her through visits and cards during the years she lived at Stilwell before moving to Ridgecrest the final few weeks of her life. We also want to thank the staff at Stilwell for their concern and caring for her as well as Ridgecrest for the loving care they provided during her last days. Flynn and Milton moved to Waco in 1951. They enjoyed traveling in their Airstream with friends, and that was their passion for many years. When they were not Airstsreaming, they could be found out on Lake Waco in their boat with friends and family.Memorials may be made to Central Christian Church or a charity of your choice.
