Floria Estelle HollingsworthMay 21, 1919 ~ March 9, 2010 Floria Estelle Hollingsworth "Mamaw", 90, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Pastor Cary Killough and Associate Pastor David Cozart officiating. Interment will follow at Turnersville Cemetery, Turnersville, TX. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the funeral home. Floria Estelle was born May 21, 1919 to Alvin and Ida Huckaby in Coryell County, TX. She married Grady Hollingsworth on September 2, 1934. They were foster parents until Grady's death in 1982. She then baby sat until her health kept her from doing it any longer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Ida Huckaby; husband, Grady Hollingsworth; daughter, La Nell Hollingsworth; grandson, Terry Hollingsworth; and great great granddaughter, Alexis Hightree. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Jo Nell Hale of Waco, Charles Hollingsworth and wife, Marlane, of Waco, and Wanda Kendall and husband, Ken, of Taft; brothers, Richard Huckaby and wife, Virginia, and Raymond Huckaby; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be David Aylor, Dean Elliott, Keith Kendall, Hans Saunders, Larry Schier and Wayne Thurman. Arrangements under the direction of Connally/Compton Funeral Directors, Waco, TX.
