Fay HonnollThere was rejoicing in heaven Friday, January 2, 2004 as Fay Honnoll went home to be with the Lord. Celebration services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with interment following at Rosemound Cemetery. The Reverend Gary Tapley will officiate. The family will receive visitors from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.Mrs. Honnoll was born September 16, 1922 in Waco to the late Francis Marion (Frank) and Arkie Loretta Elms Harris. She married Robert Earl Honnoll December 12, 1941 and they celebrated over 53 years together before his death in 1995. They made their home in Houston for thirty years before returning to Waco for the duration of her life. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother by her family and also for her love of her little dog, Angel Girl.She was also preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.She is survived by a son, Larry Honnoll and wife, Karen of New Braunfels; two grandsons, Kyle Honnoll of Katy and Kevin Honnoll of New Braunfels; two granddaughters, Allison Clary of Hillsboro and Michelle Beard of Lewisville, CO; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Mabel McNutt of Kosse and Virginia Collins of Cedar Hill; and her dog, Angel Girl.
