Eunice Dale Simmons 'Grammy' born on September 6, 1952 to Thelma Eunice Sanders and James Creamer Daniels. She had 16 siblings and is survived by her sisters Sandra Daniels and Barbara Lofton.

She married the love of her life, Paul Simmons 'Paw Paul' on September 29, 2006. They share 8 children and their spouses, 13 grand children and their spouses, and 20 great-grandchildren.

She retired from PJ's Bar and Grill as a bartender for 20 years. After she retired, she loved cooking big meals and having as many of the kids and grandkids over on weekends to play guitars and sing karaoke late into the night. She loved all the kids running through the house. Everyone always heard Grammy say 'I hate kids', knowing they were her world.

She was diagnosed in February of 2024 with multiple myeloma and very rapidly became too weak to walk. She tried and tried to exercise to build her strength back up to walk. She would say, ' I just want to be able to walk into the kitchen and cook again.'

On September 27, 2024 she 'walked' through the pearly gates of Heaven.

Services will be October 5, 2024 at 11 am at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors in Waco, Tx with Reverend David Cozart officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on October 4th, at the funeral home.
