Eula Doris Graves Smith (Forrest) born June 25, 1924 passed away peacefully on June 27, 2022 at 98 years of age surrounded by family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years JB Smith, Jr, her second husband BW Forrest and her son Larry and his wife Sharon.

She is survived by her children JR Smith, Lynda Thurman (Richard), Rita Norred, Jane Murff (Charles), 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. A short graveside ceremony will be held June 30 at 10:00am at Rosemound Cemetery with The Reverend Mickey Fugitt officiating.

Pallbearers: Chad Murff, James Landry, David Unger, Barry Schwakhofer, Scott Smith, Richard Thurman,
Tom Jeffrey and Robby Wise.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Fuzzy Friends and Shriners Hospital for Children.
