Ernestine Franklin, 80, of Waco passed away Thursday, December 29, 2014 at her residence. A celebration of her life will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Mrs. Franklin was born on September 25, 1934 in Miami, Florida to Ernest H. and Martha (Strickland) Eastman. She married Richard Franklin and retired from the State of Florida. Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by her parents and husband.Survivors include her daughter; Sheryl Franklin and her husband, James O'Connor of Klamath Falls, OR, sons; Ernest Franklin of Waco and Randall Franklin and his wife, Alice "Fay" of Naples, FL, grandchildren; Belinda Gates and her husband, Roger, Melissa Morales, Randy Franklin, Rebecca Franklin and John Franklin and great grandchildren; Ricky Morales, Elizabeth Morales, Synthes Morales, Maria Morales, Cole Gates and Meranda Gates.
