Erminia "Minnie" Lou Loucia Salinas, age 56, passed way Saturday, July 08, 2017 in Waco, Texas. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 12th at 10:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 11th at Connally Compton. Minnie was born January 7, 1961 to Domingo and Helen (Sanchez) Chavez in Waco, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Waco and a member of the Church of Christ. She married her best friend, Milton Salinas on September 28, 1993 in Dallas. Minnie was a crafty person who enjoyed life and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Domingo and Helen Chavez; sister, Delores Resendez.Minnie leaves behind to cherish her memories, husband, Milton Salinas of Waco; daughters, April Salinas, Sonya Chavez, Helen Chavez, Lysandra Salinas all of Waco; sons, Milton Salinas, Jr. and Joshua Chisholm of Waco; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard Chavez and wife, Mary of Waco, Thomas Chavez of Waco; sisters, Ernestine Sifuentes and husband, Frank of Waco, Mary Chavez of Waco and Betty Chavez of Waco; numerous nieces and nephews.
