Emma "Granny" Bonk, 86, passed away October 13, 2015 at Lakeshore Village. Funeral services will be 1:00p.m., October 19, 2015 at Connally Compton Funeral Directors Chapel.Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow Oakwood Cemetery.Known as Granny to all who knew her, she entered this life on April 5, 1929 to parents, Charlie and Hattie (Mohill) Kaluza. For many years she worked for Cozy's Bar as a barmaid. Granny loved her family especially her grandkids. One of her favorite things to do was kick back a Budweiser and listen to Polka music. She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Bonk; parents; sister, Willie Mae Faulkenberg, brothers, Raymond, Charlie, Adolf And Anuel; son-in-law, Thomas Beeman; and great-great grandkids, Cheyenne Enfinger and Gabriel Meek.Survivors include her daughter, Leona Beeman of Waco, grandkids, Kenny and Laura Anderson of Arizona, Shelley and Chris Arriaga of Waco, Shelia and Darrell Cullens of Mt Calm; sister, Tillie K. of Temple; and 8 Great Grandchildren; and 6 great great grandkids.
