Elton Roy Henkel Jr, 64, of Beverly Hills passed away Wed. June 21, 2006. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 24 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will be Friday, June 23 from 6 to 8, with a rosary at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.Roy was born to Elton and Leona on Aug. 9, 1941 in Chilton. Roy was a member of the Shriners Texas "T", 4-wheelers and the Mason. Roy enjoyed coaching his sons in little league and enjoyed watching his grandsons play sports. He loved to go fishing and spend time with his family. Mr. Henkel retired from the US Postal Service.Preceding him in death was his mother Leona Henkel.Roy leaves to cherish his memory, his father Elton Roy Sr.; loving wife of 43 years Anne; daughter Paula Gonzales and husband Carlos; sons John Henkel and wife Heather, David Henkel and wife Michelle; six grandchildren, John David, Jackson, Hailey, Hunter, Brianna, Major, Colton; sister JoAnn Henkel.Pallbearers;Terry Stevener, Ricky Gonzales, Tommy Tull Jr, Mark Torres, Robert Alonzo, Robert Harn.Honorary pallbearers; Bennie Phillips and David Rosencrants.
