Elizabeth King, 88, of Waco, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at St. Catherine's Hospice Center. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 30th at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.Mrs. King was a member for over 50 years of the Order of the Eastern Star and in Merak Temple Daughters of the Nile. She was a Charter member of Lake Shore Baptist Church. She was a Nurse and Counselor for Cancer patients. She was a cancer survivor herself. She was also a talented seamstress and designer. Elizabeth was a devoted mother and grandmother to her beloved son and granddaughter.She is survived by her son, James C. King and wife, Beverly of Waco; a beloved granddaughter, Karen King of Austin; two brothers, Howard O. Looney of Waco and Tommie R. Looney of Garland; and several nieces and nephews.
