Mr. Eduardo Vasquez, 72, entered into rest May 22. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 25 at Saint Francis Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. A rosary to be held Wednesday, May 24, at 7:00 p.m. at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Eduardo was born to Eduardo and Lucita Vasquez on March 17, 1934 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He was educated in San Luis Potosi and attended the University of San Luis Potosi. He was state champion in bowling and swimming. He was a pleasant, industrious, skillful and honest man. He had a keenness and passion for precision and perfection in all his work. Eduardo was a person who was beloved by all his friends and family. He was a loving and caring husband that will be missed.He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters.Eduardo is survived by his wife Barbara, one sister Maria DeLos Angeles Monsech of Mexico, sisters-in-law Anita Martinez, Socorro Lopez, Paula Ballesteros, Lupe Ortiz, Lucy Jimenez, Mary Lou Martinez all of Waco, Esther Gateff from Virginia. Several nieces and nephews from Waco and from Mexico Ramon Castillo, Pepe Martinez, Berta Castillo, and Agapita Juvenal.Pallbearers are Willie Jimenez, Raymundo Cardona, Cody Carbajal, Bill Martinez, Joe Paul Ballesteros, Johnny Ballesteros, Audash Kamkar, Richard Lopez.Honorary pallbearers Lorenzo Sisneroz, Willie Martinez, Eli Gateff, Robert Carbajal, Jenaro Sedillo, Juan Martinez, Juan Manuel Gateff and Little Jay MartinezSpecial thanks to the Bluebonnet Home Care Staff, Sherry, Nikki, Judy and Diana Cooper also to Margaret Frias and the staff from Providence Hospice for their kindness and compassion.
