Edna PickJuly 31, 1924 ~ January 1, 2008 Edna Pick, 83, of Lacy-Lakeview passed away Jan.1, 2008. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm, Fri., Jan. 4, 2008 at Riesel Cemetery with Rev. J. R. Crocker officiating. Visitation will be Thurs., Jan. 3 from 5 pm – 7pm at Connally/Compton Funeral Home, 4400 W. Waco Dr. Edna was born July 31, 1924 in Riesel to Malachi and Emma (Sydow) Finley. In 1942 she married Raymond Pick and moved to Lacy-Lakeview where she resided until the time of her death. She had worked at Blackland Air Base, General Dynamics, and was a long time member of Faith Tabernacle Church under the direction of Rev. A. C. Lane and Rev. Danny Lane. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers, Alvin Finley and Woodrow Finley. Survivors include her two sons, Roger Pick of Lacy-Lakeview and Wayne Pick and wife, Brenda of Riesel; two grandchildren, Cody Pick and wife, Jenifer of Riesel and Stacie Pick of Riesel; one sister, Faye Shirley of California; two sisters-in-law, Mae Finley of Riesel and Ruby Pick of Bellmead; one great granddaughter, Landri Lynn Pick of Riesel and several nieces and nephews.
